This is the entry portal for 2018-19 Tasmanian Age Track and Field Championships to be held from 9 to 10 February 2019 and may be used by any age eligible athlete.
Please carefully note the following (as well as examing the timetables for each championship weekend that are available at www.tasathetics.org.au):
(a) the "Age Championships" weekend [9/10 February 2019] includes most championships events for the Under 14, Under 15, Under 16 and Under 20 age groups. It also includes the open 3000m steeples and the open and Under 18 3000m championships [for which there is a separate entry portal].
(b) the "Under 18/Open/Masters Championships" weekend [15-17 March 2019] includes most championships events for the Under 18, Open and Masters age groups. It also includes the Under 20 3000m steeples and 5000m championships and the Under 15 and Uner 16 3000m championships. Entry for these age group events will be included in the entry portal for the March Weekend..
(c) all pole vault championships will be conducted on the March weekend. Entry for all pole vault events will be included in the entry portal for the March Weekend..
In each entry portal there is a separate entry point for athletes who are currently registered (full year) with Athletics Tasmania and another for those who are not. Please be sure to enter via the correct point for the athlete's current status.
Late entries (in accordance with the principles in the applicable Technical Regulations) will not be offered on-line. Contact must be made directly with the AT office in person or by phone or email.

If you wish to enter a second eligible age group, please complete and pay the first age group and start a second log in for the additional age group.
No athlete born after 2005 shall be permitted to compete in any track event longer than 3000m or in the steeplechase. An athlete must turn 16 years of age in 2019 to compete in events of distance in excess of 5000 metres. However an athlete aged 13 years on the day of competition may compete in a 5000m race walk championship. An athlete aged 14 or 15 years on the day of competition may compete in the 10000m race walk championship. An athlete must turn 12 years of age in 2019 and have received skill training from an accredited coach beforehand to compete in pole vault and hammer throw competitions
Subject always to the further restrictions outlined above an athlete aged 12 or under on the day of competition will only be permitted to compete in Under 14 age group plus relays in older age groups (except in the case of athletes turning 13 in the year of competition who may compete in the under 15 3000m and/or combined event). No athlete born in 2010 or later may compete.
Athletes with a para-athlete classification and wishing to compete with such classification must indicate their existing or expected classification in the relevant box on the entry form. Para-athletes will in general where circumstances permit compete simultaneously with all athletes of their age group in each event entered.
